Prefabricated Concession Stand and Restroom Building Installation
Deadline: Tuesday, May 21, 2024, by 3:00 p.m.
The Mayor and Commissioners of Emmitsburg, Maryland are requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for labor and materials necessary to complete the installation of a Prefabricated Concession Stand and Restroom Building, including but not limited to all associated site work, utilities, site restoration, and other related items necessary as further described in the RFP. See bid packet below for more information.
Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting to be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM via the Zoom meeting platform. Zoom meeting login instructions are located within the bid packet.
Four copies of the sealed proposals are due by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Proposals will not be accepted via email. Please boldly note on the sealed bids “Eugene Myers Community Park Bathroom/Concession Stand Bid, Do Not Open.”

Rainbow Lake Parking Lot Construction
Deadline: Tuesday, May 21, 2024, by 2:00 p.m.
The Mayor and Commissioners of Emmitsburg, Maryland are requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a 10-space parking lot at Rainbow Lake. Bidder’s scope of work includes mobilization, maintenance of traffic, construction stakeout, sediment & erosion control, the construction of a 10-space parking lot including a stormwater management bioretention facility, asphalt pavement, site restoration, landscaping, and other related items necessary to complete the project. The Mayor and Commissioners of Emmitsburg, Maryland are requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the construction of multiuse natural surface trails in the Emmitsburg watershed. See bid packet below for more information.
Three copies of the sealed proposals are due by 4:00 pm on Friday, May 17, 2024. Proposals will not be accepted via email. Please boldly note on the sealed bids “Trail Bid, Do Not Open.” Please direct any questions to Madeline Shaw, Grants Administrator, at Mshaw@emmitsburgmd.gov. All questions and corresponding answers will be posted in writing on the Town’s website for bidder reference as they are received.
