The Town of Emmitsburg dog park is an additional amenity to the Emmitsburg Community Park.  The dog park is located west of the tennis courts (see map) and split into two sections: small dogs (35lbs and less) and large dogs (36lbs and more).  A double-gated entry on each side helps assure the safety of your pets.

The park was funded by a grant received from the State of Maryland, but additional donations were needed to purchase necessary amenities (i.e. benches, signage, water fountains, trash cans, pick-up bags, and possibly doggy playground equipment).   Donations are still accepted to assist with upkeep costs.   All donations are acknowledged on the town website. Please view the “Levels of Giving” for more information.

 Thank you for your support!
